Samsung and HTC, one of the biggest Android smartphones manufacturers in the world, promised that they are going to publish the list of phones that will receive the Jelly Bean update very soon. Samsung will benefit form over-the-air official updates in the middle of June for Galaxy Nexus and Galaxy Nexus S. Users of Galaxy S II, Galaxy S III or Galaxy Note will have to wait just a little bit longer until they will be able to upgrade to Android 4.1 Jelly Bean OS.
Alternatively, HTC is a little bit more aloof and the company only said that they sustain the new Jelly Bean OS and promised to make it obtainable for multiple devices. HTC is analyzing the Android 4.1 Jelly Bean OS and the company is soon going to announce an update plan for new generation smartphones.
Although we don’t have an official confirmation, we wait for HTC One smartphones to get the Jelly Bean update in the near future.
It remains to be seen which of the current smartphones will get the Jelly Bean update and in how much time because many manufacturers are still working on releasing Ice Cream Sandwich for some smartphones.
